How do we read a fragrance?

Wear Before Judgement

A review is not built from a quick spray or first impression. A fragrance is worn over time and, where possible, in more than one setting.

Context Belongs to Scent

Climate, occasion, memory, and place matter because a fragrance is not read identically in every kind of air or on every skin.

Description Before Verdict

Evaluation begins with what actually happens: opening, structure, development, texture, and performance—then reaches a clear personal conclusion.

Independence & Disclosure

The source of a bottle or sample is stated. Gifts and commercial relationships are disclosed and do not determine the conclusion.
